The Artists
Sarah Poe
Alchemist & visionary storyteller.
We are Living Light and I am I am drawn to the art of listening and witnessing stories,
because our stories are reflections of who we are.
"There is nothing more truly artistic
than to love people." Vincent Van Gogh
I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was 5. I can still remember the ecstatic joy of a fresh roll of film and the excitement of waiting to expose the magick of each image captured! I think what drew me to the art of photography and film making is my love of stories, and my fascination with The Light.
For 25 years I’ve been sharing stories and creating art through portraits, branding, and now, film making! I’m an Artist, a Mentor and a Midwife of the Soul. My unique style of art is a mirror of what I see and feel in you. I am called to create with you in the moments of initiation, rites of passage and in celebration of your creative offerings to the world. I am excited to support your vision and help you share your story!
I inspire you to follow the dreams of your heart!
I love to love. I love the raw, wild, full spectrum experience of being human, and I’m excited to connect, create with you and share your unique story.
Reach out and let the journey begin!!

“Creativity is a fundamental aspect of being human. It’s our birthright. And it’s for all of us” -Rick Rubin
“Did I choose art or did art choose me? Art has always been in my blood. It’s almost subconscious, like breathing for me.” - Monet Poe
Monet grew up surrounded by art. Her mother is a photographer, and her father is a graphic designer. At a very young age her mother would take her to The High Museum of Art in Atlanta where she would spend all day. She would sit and stare at one piece of art for hours. Her mother knew she had a deep love for art and an innate sense of creativity, and so she gave her experiences that nourished that part of her creative soul. She took many apprenticeships and followed her love for art.
Her art is inspired by her inner child and her love for nature and wildlife. She started creating watercolors in 2017 and fell in love with the medium.
Born in West Virgina, she moved to Charleston, South Carolina at the age of three where she grew up. Monet was raised by an inspiring powerhouse single mother, Sarah Poe.
Her childhood is where her journey began.
In kindergarten, her teachers wanted to medicate her with Adderall. She was punished for not finishing work on time—her creativity stifled; her light dimmed. She was labeled with ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, and auditory processing disorder. What others failed to see were her gifts: creativity, empathy, intuition, and imagination. Where systems saw something broken, her mother saw brilliance. Which led to a path of homeschooling, a choice that shaped everything. It gave her the freedom to learn in ways that honored who she truly is—through play, nature, movement, creativity, and deep listening to her inner world. Rather than being told how to learn, she discovered why she learns and she was given freedom to study what she was drawn to. Her education was never about fitting in; it was about becoming.
At just nine years old, Monet started her first business, following an inner spark that has guided her ever since. She has worked in horse barns, helped start a farmers market and in 2016 traveled to Standing Rock with my mom. Her path has been shaped not by traditional systems, but by soul-schooling—a life led by curiosity, creativity, apprenticeships, travel, and deep inner work.
Today, Monet lives a nomadic life creating opportunities to love, inspire and activate the genius in others. Through watercolor art, Art Alchemy events, intuitive art classes, and photography she holds space for people to reconnect with their creative truth—to feel seen, celebrated, and free.
She has used her artwork to help children with PVS (Pulmonary Vein Stenosis), raising over $5,000 for Lady Josephine Foundation. Her work has also been shown at art shows in Charleston, SC.
